This handsome mug is made by hand from glazed clay in Oaxaca. Our friend, Chantale, works directly with indigenous groups in Mexico, with a focus on artisans who use natural materials and traditional techniques. She is a member of the Métis Nation of British Columbia and a descendant of the Cowessess First Nation of Saskatchewan. Chantale brings her perspective as an indigenous person to her business practices and is guided by the principles of respect, reciprocity, relevance and responsibility in her work ethic.
